Perturbed

I am not sure of the time , I will publish this post.But let the time take its hold , and then I will publish it. It is dated 30th march of 2013. I generally try to avoid myself in the blog but now It calls for the ink to flow.

It will truly be one of the disappointing end of the so much coveted MBA of me.I expected it to launch me in all together different world full of aspirations, ideas, young minds and a few years of experience to start something on my own.But the things have proved me completely otherwise.

Too many strategic mistakes at my side have proved me worthless at many instances.In retrospection,
I held things too long and too tight.

This season has killed my confidence from the top to the bottom.I expected myself to do much better than many of the other people. Probably too much of complacency, lack of discipline and regular quotas of intoxication has proved things otherwise.I hold to the point that post this student career, Its a goodbye to intoxication so that my rest of some life finds some meaning and the meaning is attached for a cause.

Season 2013

Its been a happening 2013 now. Season of placements at IIMs have started and different people have different stories.Some of them are happy to achieve  what they dreamed of, some of them are sad to their bad luck, some of them are frustrated, some of them are elated, some of them drunk , and some of them stoned.

People really want to know how does a company prepare a shortlist.Do they make a bunch of chits and select out of it. Do they use some random number generator function mapped to a name? why is that a particular candidate continuously gets a shortlist? Is there many to one function existing with him? How is that a girl outsmarts boy in most of the interviews. I am not questioning the intelligence of woman power but statistically  the results are heavily biased to woman.I have seen certain friends of mine looking for an option of sex change to get a job.Some people repent the idea of MBA and IIMs . I was thinking of the question that why does a recession occur. A friend of mine told that right companies choose wrong people. Companies don't progress. The sector starts screwing and hence the economy, which leads to recession.

Some also say that companies pick people according to the sizes. 34D gets priority over 34C and hence so on.unbuttoned shirts work all the time. Nature and God has done injustice to men in this case. They don't have any potent weapon to showcase their skills.

The interview is another fun part of the process. We try our best to sell to the interviewer, where as he is more interested in the taste of the coffee and biscuits, some are naturally pervert,  some are yawning, snoring and even sleeping. We try to justify and lie about the achievements we have done, connect work experiences to the job, and make the interviewer believe that their company is what we have born for. Some interviewers make fun, enjoy the mockery and are happy that IIMs is the only place where they get so  much respect.

Some are still fighting and will fight till the end of the season.Some don't care. Some are worried on the amount of loan they have.Will they pay or will default the bank is worth waiting for!!!
